DeVos and other family members have also engaged in healthy charitable activities in other fields that are not politic-related. A compilation presented by Forbes showed that DeVos family had donated over $1.3 billion in their lifetime as at the year 2015. This amounts to an average of 25 percent of their total net worth, which made them rank as the 24th most philanthropic family in the United States. The family has its foundation known as Dick and Besty DeVos Family Foundation. The foundation is headed by several chairs and focus on five core pillars that include education, arts, leadership, justice, and the local community. The company also supports various policy organizations including American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and the family had on its own donated over 750, 000 dollars and promised to add 1 million dollars in the future.

Betsy DeVos is best known for her philanthropy work and education advocacy. She and her husband are considered to be billionaires.
